Brief
Veremonte is a London based international investment group whose interests include real estate development and the Formula E electric racing car series. Veremonte planned, promoted and organised the proposed 12,000 room international gaming destination known as BCN World – located south of the city of Barcelona.
The first phase of the development envisions three integrated gaming resorts with 3,000 keys each with a total construction volume of over 1.5 million sq. metres and a total investment in excess of US$ 5 billion. Each of the resorts operations would be undertaken by established, international gaming operators; with preliminary agreements having been established with Hard Rock, Melco International and Caesar’s Entertainment.
Perficae was brought on board to undertake all asset management functions for the resort, including:
- Business planning
- Management contract negotiations
- Coordination of in-house and operator architecture teams
- Sourcing of architectual support teams
- Investor presentations
