Brief
Las Vegas Sands Corp. planned a US$15 billion, 36,000-room destination gaming resort in Madrid which would rival global gaming centres such as Las Vegas and Macau. When complete, the destination would have a guest room capacity exceeding that of Macau and rivaling that of the top end hotels in Las Vegas. We were tasked with multiple analysis, including:
- Identifying levels of accommodation demand
- Identifying average rate and rooms revenues
- Identifying sources and levels of demand for the resorts MICE facilities
- Defining the recommended size and type of MICE facilities
- Reviewing projected operating cost structures
